therapy

I work with women experiencing identity shifts and transformations. Women transitioning and discovering. I support anxious women. Think high achieving, eldest daughters carrying the weight of the world on their shoulders. Women navigating motherhood. Women exploring careers and relationships. Women who are creatives at heart.

I work with women motivated to do the hard inner work and ready to confront their own stuff. They understand that therapy also happens outside of our weekly meeting, and are prepared to implement what we talk about in session outside of session. They understand that therapy can feel hard, but continue to show up for themselves to do the work. They understand that therapy is not totally linear, it may feel a little intense before it feels better. I work with women who are ready to feel supported, held and challenged.

My Approach

I’ll meet you where you are. I want to get to know you, even the parts that feel hard or prickly. I accept all of you and where you are in this moment, by fully listening and witnessing. Next we’ll go on an adventure inward to help you find what’s keeping you stuck. Understanding your own patterns and connecting to your inner self can illuminate the path forward. Finally, we will work together to create change. I believe you have inner knowing and wisdom that can be evoked to make changes that feel true to you. I create a collaborative space for your journey where you can learn new skills, nurture inner change and feel safe being challenged.

supervision

I love working with students and new therapists! I believe in supporting the next generation to feel confident, competent and empowered.

I provide BC-DMT supervision to graduate students and R-DMTs. I also provide clinical supervision for Oregon LPC associates and graduate students.

$100/60mins & $125/90mins

My Approach

I approach supervision as relationship-based education. I utilize a developmental approach to supervision that best suits the supervisee’s personality, philosophy, work setting, competence level, and history of experience. With student or newer supervisees, I use a teaching and counseling role. With more experienced professionals I use the consultation role. Regardless of the approach to supervision, the core beliefs are the same. My role of supervisor is to always protect client welfare, improve supervisee skills and competence, and provide professional guidance and support, in order to help facilitate supervisee development and achievement of their fullest potential. And, regardless of approach, a variety of supervision modalities and techniques will be used to reach the core goals of supervision including: embodied learning activities, video recordings, role-play, note review and other modalities to further supervisee development.
